About Me
Hi! Welcome to my company,  More Than Paws. My name is Lara, your friendly and reliable animal expert! Let me tell you a little bit about why I am the best person to look after your furry loved ones and home.
I am more than your average dog walker. I am an experienced zookeeper! Having worked with everything from lions and tigers, to chimpanzees and pygmy marmosets, I am an expert in animal care with a BSc in Animal Behaviour. Having lived all over the world, my life has always revolved around animals. Whether it was working for a street dog charity in Thailand or on a Reserve in Africa, I have a special connection with every furry friend I meet. 
 
Having spent years working with, and studying a vast array of animals, in 2018 I set up More Than Paws.
I am a Pet First Aider and a Certified Dog Trainer with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training (CIDBT) and I am currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour at Level 5. I hold a student membership with ISAP (International Society of Animal Professionals).
 
When it comes to pet sitting, I work solely on my own to provide you and your pets with the best service... not forgetting the support and assistance from my animal obsessed husband, who loves to muck in when duty calls!  
Whether your family member is a hamster, cat, dog, llama or horse (or even a tiger) I'm your expert!
